 MACROSTY PARK DEMENTIA ACCREDITATION

After a year of developments and improvements MacRosty

Park now is even more accessible and inclusive as a

dementia friendly greenspace. Residents of Crieff, a local

Health Walk group and visitors to the area can now enjoy

extensive network of pathways, enhanced natural spaces

and accessible facilities with the new upgrades.

Improvements, which include new dementia friendly signage,

additional seating, way markers and cleared pathways will

now enable visitors to the park - particularly those with

cognitive or sensory impairment - to explore and navigate

the park with a little more ease and enjoyment.

We are delighted to have worked alongside Friends of

MacRosty, Paths for All and Greenspace Rangers from

Perth and Kinross Council to get this award for Dementia

Friendly Environment accreditation. The park is now the

second park in Scotland to receive the accreditation a

fter King's Park in Stirling.
